To evaluate & compare microleakage in class II cavities restored with three different bulk fill composites. Forty five sound first molars free of caries, cracks, decay and restorations were selected for this study. Class II cavity slot preparations were made with the following dimensions, buccolingual-4 mm, mesiodistally- 4mm, and 4mm depth were prepared. The gingival margin was placed 1mm below CEJ. The test specimens were randomly divided into three groups GROUP 1: Silorane composite, Group 2:- Tetric evoceram bulk fill, Group 3: Ever X posterior. Teeth were polished & thermo cycled for 400 cycles between 5degree C and 55 degree C .The radicular apices of teeth were sealed & covered with nail varnish except for 1-2 mm around the margins of restorations. After placing in 2% methyline blue dye for 24 hours the samples were washed and processed for dye extraction. The teeth were placed in test-tube containing 1ml of concentrated (65 wt %) nitric acid for 3 days. Test-tube was centrifuged at 5,000 rpm for 5 minutes. Two hundred microliters of the supernatant from each sample was transferred to a 96-well plate. Sample absorbance was read by an automatic spectrophotometer. Statistical analyses used were one way analysis of variance, post hoc analysis. Results showed that ever X posterior showed least microleakage followed by Tetric evoceram bulkfill and Silorane composite. There was a statistically significant difference between group 3 and group 1& 2, however there was no significant difference between group 1 & 2. The present study concluded that Fiber reinforced ever X Posterior showed least microleakage compared to Tetric evoceram bulk fill and Silorane compositeen_US
