dc.description.abstractStress is a state of mental and emotional strain or tension resulting from adverse or demanding circumstances. There are both good and bad or positive and negative stress. 86% of Indian currency was abrogated in effort to Demonetization. The survey that 51% work and 50% personal finances are the contributing factors for the increased level of stress in the individual. Aims and Objectives: The main aim to conduct this study was to find out the level of stress regarding the Demonetization of Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 notes among the people. Material and Method: In this research study a Quantitative survey approach with Descriptive research design is used. Non probability convenience sampling technique was used to select the samples from selected areas of Vadodara District and data collection was done. Data was analyzed by using descriptive and inferential statistics such as Standard deviation and Chi-square test. Result: In this study, 7% were having Mild Stress, 76% were having Moderate Stress and only 17% were having Severe Stress. Here one demographic variable living area is significant with the level of Stress. Conclusion: In this research study findings show that the people have Severe and Moderate Stress regarding Demonetization of Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 Notes.en_US
