Learning Resource Centre - Membership
Membership Overview
Out of 11 constituent libraries under the University Library System, the Central Library offers operations through a Smart Card with barcode technology and is fully automated. The Circulation Section facilitates users to borrow books for home reading based on their patron privilege category.
Eligibility
- All students, faculty members, and staff of the University are eligible to become members of the Learning Resource Centre (LRC).
Procedure for Membership Registration
- Students and faculty members are required to collect the Library Membership Form from the Accounts Section on payment of ₹100/-.
- The form must be duly filled in and countersigned by the Dean/Principal of the respective Institution.
- Submit the completed form along with:
- A recent passport-size photograph
- A valid Photo ID proof
- Membership will be activated only after verification of the details.
General Rules for Membership
- Membership cards/IDs are strictly non-transferable.
- Members are responsible for all materials issued on their account.
- Any change in address, course, or department must be immediately reported to the Library.
- Loss of a membership card must be reported immediately. A duplicate card can be issued on payment of ₹50/-.
